Ambiguity is the result of using greyscale with the default textures which are shipped with Minetest Game. Gives the feeling of playing in a black & white movie setting, and can add some challenges.

Absolutely fantastic
A very interesting idea and aesthetic approach. I would consider it for a horror, story telling and/or noir kind of game. Not using it for a regular, yet harder, survival game for that extra challenge though... Anyways great asset.
